Candy Bouquet

I wanted to share with you the candy bouquet I made for a bridal shower. After searching for ideas on the internet and coming up empty, I turned to my Stampin' Up! products. I used the Big Shot with the Daisy Die and Scallop Circle Die, bright color cards stock, and a few clue dots. I used floral stems and wrapped them with floral tape. Then I attached the candy by wrapping one of the twisted ends to the stem. I attached candy kisses to the scallop circle die flowers using glue dots. After I placed the flowers in the bouquet, I used curling ribbin to fill in. I filled the base with some clear rock and added the left over candy on top. Once I had the idea, the rest was simple! Thanks for looking!!!! :)

Thursday, April 9, 2009

Hi,

I have finally finished the samples of graduation cards I will be holding classes for.

I will be having classes on Sunday, April 26th at 1:00pm and 4:00pm in my home. These cards are offered only in the colors shown. Contact me with the style/color, and how many you would like to make. You may make as many of each card as you would like. Cost is $1.35 per card. Please RSVP with class fee no later than April 15th as I will need plenty of time to order supplies and cut out your cards!! :)

I will also be holding this class on Saturday, May 9th at 11:00am and 1:00pm, at the Presbyterian Church by Trinity Homes. Cost is $1.35 per card. If you plan to attend the class at the church, please RSVP with class fee no later than May 1st.

You are welcome to come to the Presbyterian Church for the All Day (9:00am-7:00pm) event. LeeAnn and Mary will also be offering classes. I will try to get their projects posted for you to view. You may sign up for as many classes as you would like that day. Or you can just come and do your own thing. We are having a 'pot-luck' as well. If you plan to attend all day, you are asked to bring something, it could be as simple as a bottle of soda or a bag of chips.

Thank you!!!!

Mommy & Me Class

MOMMY & ME

March 22, 2009
2:00 pm
I have decided to have a Mommy & me class. Several of my stampin' friends have young children that want to stamp just like Mommy. At this class they will have the opportunity to make projects designed just for them.

Requirements for the class: School aged children accompanied by Mommy. I suggest 2 to 1 ratio. Bring your favorite adhesive. That's it! Come and enjoy an afternoon with your child/children!

Cost: $10.00 per child, or FREE, if you place a $25.00 order that day.

Pre-registration with class fee is required (if you place an order the class fee will be credited)

Registration for class is March 1st - March 16th.

I thought I would share with you how I spend my Saturday! My daughter came out and we made baby shower invitations. Although she says she is not a stamper or very crafty, I have to say she did a great job and stuck with it ALL DAY!! We had a great time laughing and visiting.
